Merry Christmas, Church!

I'm so glad you've found your way over here. Welcome to the choir! You will be able to find all the resources mentioned in rehearsals here as they become available, including our sheet music package and rehearsal tracks.

Here are the answers to some Frequently Asked Questions:

  • When are rehearsals? We will be rehearsing the first and second Wednesdays in December from 7-9 in the sanctuary. If needed, or if there is enough interest, we may hold another rehearsal on the third Wednesday.
  • Who can join the choir? Any member of Cornerstone Bible Church, or their children (grade 4 and older) are welcom to join.
  • Do I need previous choir experience? Nope! It's a bonus, but not necessary. What IS needed is a willing heart: willing to show up to rehearsals on time, willing to try your best and put in some personal practice time at home.
  • What if I don't know what part I am supposed to sing? Don't worry, we will go over all of that together in the first rehearsal, and we will sort out which part is most suitable for your voice, and what each person should be singing.
  • When are we singing? We will be singing at our annual Candlelight Christmas Eve service, December 24th at 6pm, show up at the usual time.
  • What will we be singing? We will be singing traditional Christmas Carols found in our usual hymanl, plus Cornerstone's Advent song of 2025.
  • Sounds great, how do I sign up? No need to pre-register, just show up for the first rehearsal and we will have a sign-in sheet to pass around.
  • Do I need to bring anything to rehearsal? Bring a pencil, maybe a water bottle to wet the 'ol whistle, and I  don't expect there would be any objections if you are so inclined to bring some Christmas baking to share with your neighbors :)
